Reports to: Head of Film

Summary of role: 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced commercials Producer with good energy and an ambition to grow within a fast paced production company.

This role lends itself to someone who enjoys the challenge of working in creative Production.

Reporting directly to our Head of Film, you will work solely in our film team overseeing multiple film productions at any one time. 

You will work with our Global Director of Production on pitches.

You will be required to recommend suitable Directors and art buy Phototgraphers for creative briefs. 

You will need to have the revelant experience to step up and lead the wider film team when the Head of Film is on leave.

You will be expected to produce across a wide range of clients and film projects.

You will need to be able to confidently manage producers, production managers, coordinators and PA’s as needed.

You will need to be London based.

You will need to have a trusted range of freelance production support you can recommend to resource projects during busy periods.

You will need to be accountable for managing budgets and meeting company goals.

What you need: 

· A minimum of 2 years experience in a Senior TV Commercial Producer role. Either in house or freelance.

· Specific experience of production in the fashion industry, with a black book of Directors & DOP’s with relevant fashion work.

· The ability to work across large scale TV Commercial projects as well as branded content and social campaigns.

· Experience running large scale stills shoots and art buying Phototgraphers.

· We need someone with the capability to produce projects with multiple shoot elements happening on set at any given time and the experience to resource a team to support each element – ATL and BTL stills, ATL and BTL social, BTS, tik tok, influencer content and a hero TVC campaign team.

· The ability to supervise a producer, production manager and coordinator be that full time staff or freelancers.

· The ability to look at a project from a creative, as well as production, point of view, understanding what is required and how to achieve it without compromise.

· Have fantastic existing relationships in the video production & post production world. 

· Manage a heavy workload under pressure producing multiple shoots at any one time.

· Production working hours can be unsocialble, we need someone with an awareness of the challenging working hours/length of days that can be associated with a senior producer role in the final stages of job prep and during the shoot itself.

· We need someone who is able to travel globally and locally at short notice. 

· You may be required to work out of our Manchester office for short bursts of time, accommodation and a food allowance will be provided.

· Excellent track record in executing campaigns across multiple platforms with great client feedback.

· Extensive knowledge of budget management and scheduling.

· Have a self-motivated, positive, can-do outlook.

· Communicate calmly & effectively & in high-pressure situations providing support to the team where necessary. We are looking for a genuine team player.

· Great negotiation skills in order to reach the best possible outcome for both The Production Factory and its clients.

· Execute talent negotiations (celebrity, actors, models, influencers, musicians, background) and deliver talent contracts.

· Have an excellent understanding of budgets, industry standard rates and the relevant usage rights across ATL and BTL channels.

· We would like someone who is health and safety aware, with a competent record of producing shoots safely under the correct health and safety measures.

· Experience managing stills retouch and working to 3 rounds of client feedback.

· Experience delivering OOH stills campaign images and bespoke delivery specs. 

· A strong knowledge of post production.

· We require you to bring a range of freelance editor and VFX recommendations along with external post house relationships.

· Experience lincencing commercial music, conducting library music searches and delivering music library licencing agreements.

· Experience submitting scripts and storyboards to Clearcast and executing TVC channel delivery.

· The knowledge to wrap a job with detailed notes and conduct post shoot team debriefs ensuring team learnings are communicated clearly after every project.

Responsibilities & Duties:

· The ability to source a Photographer, Director, Photographer/Director, Self Shooter, DOP team to deliver on a creative brief at bid stage.

· The ability to take a shoot brief from the Global Director of Production, or directly from the client and budget the job confidently.

· The ability to execute a job end to end from bid stage to post production delivery.

· Work alongside a client or agency in developing creative briefs from budget creation to delivery of final assets, supported by freelance creatives / Directors. 

· Build production budgets, schedules & critical paths to ensure the smooth running of productions & post production.

· Build meaningful client relationships based on honesty and solution driven production.

· Negotiate and agree competitive rates and contracts with suppliers for the benefit of the client and The Production Factory.

· Produce large and small scale shoots globally with the support of service production and the PF production team.

· Ensure a high level of service is given to clients at all times.

· Attend shoots in the UK and abroad as required.

· A solid understanding of the post production process – Offline edit, online edit, language versions, subtitling, audio description, VFX, animation, CGI, colour grade, aspect ratio versioning, delivering 100+ edit deliverables per campaign.

· Working with our in house editor to elevate their output to clients.

· Any other such duties that may be required from time to time relevant to your role.

The Production Factory London offers flexible working with the option to work at home up to 2 days per week depending on the production projects on your work roster, and what they require of your time. This role is an office based role and your office location base would be Kings Cross.
