Shipping Coordinator

PE Global is recruiting a Shipping Co-Ordinator for our multinational mining and shipping client based in Peterborough. The role is hybrid and an initial 12-month contract.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Arrange for shipments of products to be despatched to customers based on available product
- Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules
- Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts
- Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas
Requirements:
- Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques
- Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy
- Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change
- Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations
- Knowledge of transportation
