Workforce Planning Manager / Resourcing Manager

An opportunity has become available for an Interim Workforce Planning (utilisation) Manager in London. In this role you will be required to ensure that the business remains agile in its response to client demands and has the right people deployed on the right projects at the right time.

The role-holder will need to be a committed individual, who combines high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills. They will thrive in a reactive fast-paced environment, be comfortable managing conflicting priorities and have the gravitas to influence a team of challenging senior stakeholders.

To be successful, the role-holder will need to immerse themselves into the business working closely with the Managing Directors, business partners and local talent teams. Relationship building, stakeholder management and an understanding of the nature of the projects and the business will therefore be pivotal for success in this role. Existing knowledge/previous experience of working within a consultancy environment would be highly advantageous.

You will have a broad knowledge and experience within the talent space; retention and succession planning, L&D, promotion and objective setting plus operational coverage including; budgeting, forecasting, headcount management and leading and presenting in meetings.

This role could be of particular interest to individuals that have worked as Workforce Planners / Resource Allocation Managers previously. Alternatively, you could be a senior talent specialist but you’ll need some Resource Management experience. You will understand the needs of a fee earning function and the intricate relationships across teams.
