Job Description

Smashburger are looking to recruit a world-class Restaurant General Manager.

This is for our restaurant in Brighton.

As a Restaurant General Manager you will be solely responsible for the daily operations of your own Smashburger restaurant. You and your team will represent your restaurant with the Smashburger High Five values to ensure an exceptional experience for each and every guest

Key Responsibilities of the Restaurant General Manager:

Day to Day running of your Restaurant:

Maintain Brand Standards within your Restaurant;

Deliver a 5 star experience with exceptional customer service to every guest:

Recruitment of your restaurant team;

Training and Development of team members and other managers;

Ensure that the Smashburger culture is strong within the restaurant and personified by the team;

Generate and review restaurant schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels in accordance with labour costs;

Monitor and control daily food cost; and

Review and analyse financial data weekly and initiate necessary actions to increase sales and profits;

Undertake ordering and inventory.

Requirements of the Restaurant General Manager:

Previous experience of managing a successful and profitable restaurant;

Demonstrable management and leadership experience and skills;
