It’s an exciting time to join the Digital, Data and Technology service at Wirral, and we are looking for a new Head of IT Operations and Cyber Security. This is a new senior role, reporting into the Assistant Director of the Service.
The role is an opportunity to better shape and develop the service both for now and the future ensuring Wirral transitions away from a traditional on-premises IT environment to a mixture of Cloud based environments.
The Council has also recently invested in its Cyber Security capabilities, and this role will oversee further developments in this space.
The successful candidate will be a senior member of the department and be an advocate championing Digital, Data and Technology and having strong customer focus and a people centric approach to management, ensuing our infrastructure and platform management, service management and cyber security excels.
