The Job Role:

As a digital marketing executive at HC-UK Conferences you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies across our sectors to increase our online presence and drive traffic to our websites. Your role is essential in helping us reach our target audience effectively and increase sales.

The HC-UK Conferences Group brings together Healthcare Conferences UK, Education Conferences UK, Social Care Conferences UK, Care Conferences UK and HR Conferences UK, and provides professional development to those working in these sectors through high quality conferences and exhibitions, masterclasses, eLearning and in-house training. The group originated with Healthcare Conferences UK, established in 2011, which is now is the leading provider of CPD for health and social care professionals and managers working in the NHS, private healthcare sector and local authorities. Events focus on role and service development to ultimately improve patient care, experience and outcomes. Similarly in Education Conferences UK we are focused on assuring and supporting the wellbeing of children and young adults. We are a busy, award winning and growing business, collectively we run over 1000 training events a year.

Summary of Responsibilities

Your role:

  • Create and implement inclusive digital marketing strategies by utilising different digital mediums and setting measurable KPIs.
  • Collaborate with, and provide training to, the Marketing Execs and other teams (like sales and customer service) to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Create and manage digital campaigns, monitor performance reports, analyse data, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Optimise website performance, including organic traffic, bounce rate, and conversion rates to improve user experience and drive lead generation.
  • Learn our audience behaviours and learning needs and identify trends and new growth opportunities.
  • Keep up-to-date with innovations in Digital Marketing


Your tasks

  • Manage and optimise PPC campaigns on various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Conduct keyword research and on-page optimisation to increase website rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Work with the Marketing Execs to develop content and email marketing campaigns with A/B testing.
  • Create and curate social media campaigns, including content creation, publishing, and community management.
  • Analyse analytics and engagement metrics to measure and learn from campaign performance.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports to stakeholders.


Additional Duties:

  • Onsite conference attendance including running of streams


Your profile:

  • A degree in marketing, communication, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Experience with web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Search Console.
  • Proficient in marketing automation tools, such as Semrush, HubSpot, Ahrefs, Yoast, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, Google Ads, Analytics, email marketing and social media.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • A good understanding of the healthcare NHS/education markets would be greatly beneficial but is not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake their own research in addition to the knowledge passed on from colleagues and in training.


Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with graphic design and content production.
  • Knowledge of website CMS and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in developing and overseeing email marketing initiatives.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or similar.
  • Fluency in English.
