Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and IT Support system sales and business development. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their ERP needs, and proposing customized solutions to meet their business objectives. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Lead Generation:

o Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries that can benefit

from ERP solutions and IT Support system.

o Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.


2. Client Engagement and Needs Assessment:

o Build relationships with key decision-makers to understand their business challenges

and ERP and IT Support system requirements.

o Conduct thorough needs assessments and propose tailored ERP solutions to address

client pain points.


3. Proposal Development and Presentation:

o Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that showcase the

value of our ERP and IT Support system solutions.

o Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and

executives.


4. Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management:

o Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand

customer base.

o Manage the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and follow up on leads in a timely

manner.


5. Negotiation and Closing:

o Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial

outcomes.

o Close sales and achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.


6. Relationship Management:

o Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to promote retention and identify

upsell opportunities.

o Collaborate with customer support and implementation teams to ensure smooth

transitions and client satisfaction.


7. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:

o Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify

opportunities and potential threats.

o Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on market

intelligence and client feedback.


Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

• Proven experience in business development or sales within the ERP software industry.

• Deep understanding of ERP and IT Support system and their applications in various business environments.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet

deadlines.

• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales pipeline management.

• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
