Location: Crownhill, Milton Keynes/ Hybrid/ Field- UK

Working Hours: Monday – Friday - 8:30am – 5:30pm

Snap Finance, a rapidly growing FinTech company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key player in our business development efforts, you'll use your experience and contacts to attract new merchants to the Snap proposition. Here's what the role entails:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Use your experience and network to attract new merchants to Snap's proposition.
  • Identify key sectors and merchants for targeting, implementing a consistent sales approach.
  • Work with the prospecting team to generate leads aligned with business goals.
  • Manage and expand the new business pipeline, enhancing the onboarding process.
  • Identify key partners and build relationships to support our partnership strategy.
  • Retain, develop, and strengthen relationships with current merchants in your portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve ambitious targets and share best practices.
  • Use data-driven insights to support sales strategies and identify potential improvements.
  • Be passionate about our brand and solutions, leveraging your network to bring in new merchants.


To be successful in the role of Business Development Manager, we require the following skills and experience:


  • Track record of building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Selling in either a retail finance or Payments-based business.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
  • Optimistic, personable, and resolute.
  • A track record of delivering growth in a previous role and can demonstrate it.
  • Driver License.
  • Travel daily within your assigned territory.
  • FCA regulations e.g., CONC, DISP and Consumer Duty.
