Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the processing of a large volume of timesheets on a weekly basis, analysing these for any issues and sorting them ready for inputting.
- Data entry of all timesheet hours into the CRM database.
- Communicating any issues to the correct departments/customers.
- Assisting in the generation and sending of client invoices.
- Assisting in the processing of payroll and pension submissions.
- Responding to queries within SLA.
- Printing, scanning, and filing where needed.
About You: As our Payroll Assistant, you are an integral part of our team, bringing your expertise and dedication to the table. Here are the qualities and qualifications we're looking for:
- Essential 1-2 Years of Finance Experience: You have a proven track record in finance, demonstrating your competence and proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Other Relevant Software: Mastery of Excel and other necessary software is a must for this role.
- Familiarity with Sage and Xero Accounting Platforms: Experience with Sage and Xero is essential for effective management of financial processes.
- Thrives in Deadline-Driven Environments: You excel under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering results.
- Strong Team Player: You collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing positively to our fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates Independence and Meticulous Attention to Detail: Your ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy in financial processes.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are outstanding, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Basic Understanding of High-Volume Payroll Processes: Knowledge of payroll processes is necessary for this role.
Job Type: Part-Time, 3 Month Contract
Pay: £13 - £15 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to Commute/Relocate: Hebburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
