About the role


As the successful Analyst you will work really closely with the strategy part of the team, providing analysis and insights on existing performance but then also support and sourcing the insights required for the future, long term strategies.


Working closely with the Channel & Marketing Strategy team, the Channel & Marketing Analyst will lead all Market & Channel analysis and support across insight projects.


This is a pivotal role for the defining, development and delivery of optimal marketing and channel strategies to achieve core business objectives (maximise audience reach, sessions and net revenue on a global scale).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the wider team to provide analysis and insights
  • Be able to confidently interpret the data and not just gather it
  • Be able to tell a story through the Data.
  • Have the opportunity to define what “good” looks like within the team and drive us forwards
  • Proactively monitor markets, proving ongoing insights and surfacing any valuable fluctuations or trends; working with Channel & Marketing Strategy team to adapt plans based on market movements.
  • Evaluate existing marketing channel performance & mix, defining the most effective marketing channels to deliver transformational growth based on target audiences and business goals.
  • Support in defining ongoing competitor monitoring; including activities and market positioning, to inform competitive strategies.
  • Analysing consumer behaviour and preferences to inform marketing and channel decisions.
  • Working with wider Channel & Marketing Strategy team and business development to develop optimal channel strategies by market, to increase audience reach, and maximise incremental revenue.
  • · Support in defining goals, KPI’s, OKR’s, and performance metrics for marketing and channel initiatives (short and long term).


Key Skills:


  • Be able to effectively communicate in both a written and verbal manner
  • Be commercially savvy within the context of channel marketing
  • Experience in market research
  • Experience in customer research
  • Strong Analyst experience (5 years+)
  • Self-starting and highly organised, with the capability to lead and collaborate on complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in analysing multiple brands, markets, and localisations, considering product mix, channels, customer variances.
  • Proven in data analysis and data storytelling; providing unbiased insight to fuel marketing & channel strategies.
  • Experience in market, customer, competitive, and channel insights.
  • Proven ability to be in both the detail for performance evaluation and keep a ‘global’ view across channels and markets.
  • Experience in setting measurement KPI’s and metrics to define success of Channel & Marketing Strategies; understands different

measurement methods to ensure optimal mix of channels for business objectives.

  • · Stakeholder management experience with excellent leadership and organisational abilities.
