As Senior Cyber Security Engineer you will develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies tailored to the unique challenges of where my client’s business is located internationally. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cyber security measures into scalable operations and ensure alignment with industry regulations and standards. As Senior Cyber Security Engineer you will also be accountable for regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on remote networks, systems and applications. You will very much be a focal point for Information Security initiatives, consequentially it is expected that you stay ahead of emerging threats and security technologies to improve the effectiveness of security controls in international environments continuously, as well as develop and deliver Cyber Security awareness programs and training sessions tailored to the uniqueness of my client’s industry.


Within this Senior Cyber Security Engineer opportunity there is tremendous scope to innovate resources within a highly accomplished team. ** Candidates must be happy to work on-site four days a week at offices within walking distance from Victoria in London.


Senior Cyber Security Engineer permanent profile required:

  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber security roles, with a focus on protecting critical infrastructure at enterprise level.
  • Sound experience in developing and implementing cyber security strategies,
  • Well practised in conducting vulnerability assessments and managing security incidents in complex environments, including offshore facilities as well as penetration testing.
  • Have a solid understanding of networking principles (at least CCNA level), protocols, and technologies relevant to offshore environments, such as satellite communications, remote access solutions and SCADA systems.
  • Solid fundamentals in Cloud Computing platforms – (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Bright and highly collaborative with a “get-things-done” attitude to problem solving and technical challenges.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or similar.


Senior Cyber Security Engineer permanent contract details include:

Start date: ASAP.

Contract: Permanent.

Salary: up to £90,000 + bonus and benefits
