Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Pension Administrator to join our Customer Services team in Bromsgrove. This role focuses on delivering top-notch pension administration services to bespoke clients, assisting with client processing during peak times, and providing training to new and existing employees.

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of bespoke clients, ensuring all duties are performed to the highest standards. Additionally, you will assist with Maes client work as needed and handle day-to-day team workloads, including managing inbox inquiries. Your role will involve aiding in the training and development of peers, providing information, demonstrations, and coaching. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files is essential, as is staying informed about changes in legislation, competitors, and client needs.

In terms of pension administration, you will handle data validation, auto-enrollment assessments, payroll deduction schedules, and compliance with The Pensions Regulator. Effective communication with pension providers, employers, employees, and client advisers is crucial for addressing queries and issues. You will also identify and suggest added value opportunities for clients, arrange and conduct conference calls and meetings with clients, and prioritise and manage your workload, taking on additional tasks during quiet periods.

Qualifications / Skills:

The ideal candidate will have CII qualifications (or be working towards them) and previous experience in customer services, with specific knowledge and experience in pensions administration being highly desirable. Proficiency in Excel, MS Teams, and Outlook is necessary.

We are seeking a candidate who is focused on continuous improvement and developing standards, is well-organized and detail-oriented, and possesses excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
