We are currently working with a leading global broker for a VP of Compliance. Reporting to the Global Head of Compliance, the role will be acting as the primary contact with the global broking teams and the corporate functions as a business advisor and enabler.


Key responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Broking Teams, Operations and other key stakeholders to advise upon Trading Partner relationships and assist in their onboarding and maintenance.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of trading partner relationships, including related correspondence, supporting documentation and onboarding due diligence.
  • Advising on and drafting of TOBAs, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Transfer of Business Agreements and other related contractual or insurance documents.
  • Set up and implement appropriate Compliance Monitoring Programs and develop effective compliance reporting systems.
  • Ensure Submissions to Lloyd’s and other regulators are made in a timely manner and ensure that all parties within the company are aware of deadlines through the operation and oversight of the Company Timetable.
  • Complaints management including liaising with the claim’s teams, coverholders/ TPAs, Lloyd’s and the Financial Ombudsman Service as appropriate.
  • Oversee the preparation of Compliance owned regulatory returns.


Required skills and experience:


  • Compliance experience at a Lloyd's Syndicate, MGA or Broker is essential.
  • Experience of overseas entity Compliance management desirable.
  • Reinsurance experience is desirable.
