Are you a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with one of our local clients who is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth from the midlands and down to the Southern region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company, working alongside mid and senior-level management, marketing, and technical teams to drive sales.

As a Business Development Manager, your main goal will be to identify and secure new business opportunities, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, advertising, and other innovative methods. You’ll craft compelling approaches and pitches to convert prospects into long-term clients, while also nurturing and expanding existing accounts.

Business Development Manager Role & Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new clients to generate increased business.
  • Conduct cold calls and leverage your network to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify key decision-makers within prospective client organisations.
  • Research and establish relationships with new clients.
  • Arrange and facilitate meetings between client decision-makers and our specialists.
  • Develop proposals tailored to client needs and participate in pricing discussions.
  • Present products and services to enhance and deepen existing relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on a cross departmental basis to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to gather insights on market trends.
  • Consult with mid and senior management on business trends, aiming to develop new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify and seize opportunities for campaigns and services that will drive sales growth.
