I want to speak with you as I am working with an exceptional developer in northern home counties that is growing rapidly, and they are looking to expand the technical team with an ambitious senior technical manager to head up the department and run a team of technical coordinators day to day.
You will be well versed in managing complex house-building projects and have a demonstrable track record in managing engineering and infrastructure packages on housing sites within multi-phased production.
If you are an ambitious and driven technical manager from a house building background or an engineer working within a consultancy then this is the role for you.
It is expected that you will manage a small team but as you will be bringing additional skills and experience into the business you will be tasked with upskilling and broadening the knowledge base on technical aspects of large housing projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through the full lifecycle of development stages but have a particularly high involvement in pre-commencement design and engineering work.
- Appointing and overseeing external consultants in engineering, architecture, and other areas
- Working closely with the land buyers to manage schemes post-acquisitions.
- Dealing with onsite construction variation or design solutions
Key Requirements
- Degree qualified and ideally in engineering or architecture
- An experienced technical manager at a national plc house builder
- Demonstrable track record of managing and delivering 100+ unit housing projects.
- Detailed understanding of managing engineering and infrastructure elements of house-building projects
- Very ambitious and of director calibre
