Business Development Manager

Job Description

This client specialises in the Design, Supply & Installation of Solar PV & Green Roofs, is looking for a passionate and experienced Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage the running, development and growth of ICB (Projects) Ltd
  • In doing so to assist with the formulation of Sales & Marketing policy
  • To help formulate and work to company goals in terms of sales and performance
  • To manage the ICB Projects team
  • To meet and liaise with clients, architects, surveyors, contractors etc, to provide technical and commercial advice
  • To help ensure ICB Projects has the resources needed to successfully complete all work
  • To carry out site visits/surveys as required, monitor work and report back
  • To assist with potential product identification and development
  • To carry out CPD type presentations to interested clients
  • To promote the good name and reputation of ICB and maintain good customer relations
  • To complete all relevant paperwork accurately and as required to comply with ICB and client requirements, and with the ISO Quality Management System
  • To update the customer database regularly and routinely
  • To be familiar with and implement Company Quality Policy and Procedures
  • To undertake training as required and to develop and maintain personal skills to fulfil the above to the required standards
  • Any other tasks which may be reasonably requested or determined in accordance with the employee handbook


Requirements

Essential:

  • Business Management qualification and/or have relevant Construction Industry experience in a senior management role


Desired:

  • Knowledge of Roofing and Renewable energy installations

Salary - £60k + Commission + Company Car
