We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support our team. As part of our team, you will be heavily involved in devising and implementing an effective sales strategy in a sustainable way to ensure that we’re showcasing our values and mission.


We are a certified B Corporation sustainability consultancy that integrates sustainability into a business's core values rather than treating it as an optional extra. We help create internal engagement plans, develop marketing resources, and attain sustainability accreditations. Our mission is to establish sustainability as a fundamental element within all businesses at all levels. We believe that sustainability goes beyond environmental considerations, encompassing every aspect of fostering an inclusive work environment as an integral part of the company culture.


Key responsibilities:


  • Conduct research into the market & identify opportunities and prospects
  • Represent and sell from now at industry events, trade shows and networking events
  • Identify and anticipate potential customers and clients
  • Pitch services to clients and potential clients
  • Identify areas for improvement and growth
  • Develop bespoke proposals
  • Identify service improvements or growth opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Keep CRM up to date with current information.
  • Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships
  • Manage the development of the growth plan and set business targets
  • Stay up to date with sustainability, DEIA, company culture developments
  • Post strategically on social media to intrigue new clients and build up the from now brand.
  • Establish quarterly KPI`s and monitor them.


Key Candidate Attributes:

Required

  • Proven record of success with the entire sales/growth process, from planning to closing
  • A record of working in sales for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Results driven – the candidate will have quarterly targets.
  • Hard working, proactive, confident and resilient.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Passionate about all elements of sustainability.
