Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship & Account Manager specializing in Commodities, Energy Transition, and Metals for a full-time, on-site role in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role involves managing client relationships and ensuring their satisfaction through strategic planning, market analysis, identifying new business opportunities, contract negotiation, and providing ongoing support and guidance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with clients to understand their strategic goals and provide insights to help achieve them.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the commodities and energy transition sectors.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and market presence.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts that meet both client and company needs, ensuring mutual benefits.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional support and guidance to clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in relationship and account management.
  • In-depth knowledge of commodities, energy transition, and metals markets.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and managing complex agreements.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the energy industry and environmental sustainability practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Environmental Science).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Environmental Science) is a plus.
  • Previous experience working in a global research firm or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and software relevant to the industry.
  • Multilingual skills to interact with a diverse client base.
