**The Role**: Consultant Energy Transition.

The EMEA Energy Transition Consulting Team is a trusted advisor of leading companies in the traditional and new energy sectors, investor, and governments. Typical studies range from energy transition strategy assistance, transaction support, emissions reduction roadmap development, and ESG/Energy policy advise.
This role will contribute to the execution of our team’s projects for private and public sector clients with a focus on their transition to low-carbon energy resources, including techno-economic analysis of emissions management options and decarbonization opportunities, as well as developing new low-carbon energy resources

**Responsibilities**:
Work on a project team with other consultants, under the direction of the project manager
Identify internal and external information sources, gather, and synthesize data
Efficiently analyze large quantities of data to produce insights using data analytics tools or programming languages
Present findings concisely back to the team
Build and run analytical models as required for consulting projects (e.g., Excel, Python, others)
Participate in client or industry interviews and extract key takeaways
Participate in client meetings and contribute by presenting aspects of the analysis
Develop client-ready deliverables in PowerPoint and/or Word

**What We’re Looking For**:
One to three years of experience in industry, consulting, or finance environments, in areas related to Energy Transition and commercial analysis, M&A in the energy value chain, emissions estimates and management, and environmental management
Strong quantitative background
Experience in management consulting will be a significant plus
Minimum qualifications are BSc. in engineering, preferably in chemical, environmental or process engineering. A post-graduate degree is a plus (including in finance, economics, or business).
Strong written and oral presentation skills in English (strong language skills in another language is a plus).
Must have an analytical frame of mind and prepared to use data to back up opinions.
Some travel is required average around 20% of time (but could occasionally be more)
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment providing ideas and open feedback.
