Title: Investment Associate, Real Estate Living Sectors

Location: London
The Opportunity:
Cobalt is delighted to be partnering with an exceptional Investment Management firm specialising in the Living sector. My client specialises in investing, developing and placemaking exceptional Built-To-Rent schemes with a focus on building best in class locations for their communities. In addition, they are also involved in Joint Ventures with leading international fund managers.
The candidate will be responsible for investment activity and expanding the residential schemes within the client’s portfolio – they will report directly to the CEO, and so receive brilliant exposure to the full investing life-cycle.
Role Responsibilities:
- Over-see the acquisition process throughout - from sourcing to deal closing. Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure a smooth execution of the transaction
- Leading the financial modelling to acquisitions, ensure accurate, comprehensive, and well-prepared deals are brought to the investment committee
- Play a key role in preparing investor presentations and communications. Provide vital support in investor relations activities, including report preparation.
- Identify and assess new market opportunities, expansion possibilities, and potential partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic objectives with operational capabilities.
What Skills Will You Need?
- Exceptional skills in quantitative analysis and proficiency in Excel.
- Real Estate expertise, and ideally passion and experience within the Living sectors.
- Ability to quickly learn, collaborate, and adapt to new tools and processes.
- Detail-oriented, logical, rational and solution driven.
- Keen interest in contributing to a fast-growing organisation and aligning with our company's purpose and vision.
