As a Senior SEO Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company's SEO strategy to maximise online visibility and drive organic traffic. Reporting to the Head of Acquisition Marketing, you will work closely with the Lead Product Manager for the D2C to ensure SEO is seamlessly integrated into the product development process. This role is ideal for someone who is highly technical, with a strong understanding of on-page SEO, and eager to make a significant impact in a scaling international business.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and implement the overall SEO strategy with a focus on technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link-building initiatives
  • Conduct regular site audits and collaborate with the product team to resolve any technical SEO issues, improve site architecture, and ensure optimal site performance
  • Lead keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, informing content strategy and product development
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, and other industry-standard tools
  • Collaborate with the design team to design and execute A/B tests to optimise UX

Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven experience as an SEO Manager or similar role, ideally within an e-commerce environment with a large number of products
  • Hands-on experience with the Shopify platform is a strong plus
  • In-depth knowledge of technical SEO, along with a solid understanding of on-page SEO and link-building strategies
  • Awareness of best practice involved in link building campaigns
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to make technical recommendations and changes
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) best practices
  • Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools, preferably Tableau
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team
