Role Overview
As the EMEA Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive new business and grow existing accounts across the region. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships with enterprise clients, and ensuring the successful promotion of our software solutions. This role requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record in software sales, ideally within the data analytics or visualisation space.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA region to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, including potential enterprise clients, partners, and industries.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, product demonstrations, and contract negotiation to closing deals.
- Account Management & Expansion:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organisations.
- Grow existing accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide clients with tailored solutions based on their unique data analysis and visualization needs.
- Market & Industry Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of our software products, the competitive landscape, and market trends within the data analysis and visualization sector.
- Attend industry events and represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our solutions.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to the VP of Sales and executive leadership team.
- Collaborate with the product team to communicate customer feedback and help shape future product development.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- 5+ years of sales experience in B2B software, with a focus on data analytics, business intelligence, or data visualization products.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative sales environment.
- Experience selling into multiple verticals including cybersecurity, financial services, telecommunications, law enforcement, and public sector.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of the complexities involved in visualizing and analyzing large datasets.
- Ability to speak either German, French or Italian
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions in a clear and compelling way.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with experience managing large and complex enterprise deals.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Attributes:
- Results-driven, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with broader company goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region as required (up to 50%).
