The Role: Business Development Manager – Scotland

Make an Impact: Forge new paths and expand our reach within the 5-star hotel sector in Scotland. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales and nurturing our esteemed clientele.

Flexibility at Its Best: Head Office visits are minimal, with an expectation to come in once per quarter, giving you the freedom to focus on what you do best.

Growth and Prosperity: This role is a testament to our continued expansion, with a chance to make a significant mark in a thriving market.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Strategically increase penetration in the 5-star hotel and related sectors in Scotland.

• Identify and seize new sales opportunities, enhancing our growth and profitability.

• Build a robust new business prospect list aligned to our business growth strategy.

• Actively convert and qualify prospects into realistic pipeline opportunities.

• Provide tailored solutions to meet the nuanced needs of our customers.

• Nurture existing accounts with effective account management, supported by our office-based Customer Services and Marketing team.

• Be the face of BC SoftWear at various trade events, expanding our network.

Must-Haves

  • Proven min of 8-10 years track record of profitable new business development success in the hotel and spa market or related industry such as commercial laundries.
  • Proven, strong and credible rapport with key decision makers with the ability to multi-level sell in any type of organisation.
  • Commercial awareness of what factors influence customer profitability.
  • A highly driven, passionate individual with clear focus on hitting targets.

Desirable but not essential:

• Background knowledge of textiles, though not required, could be beneficial.
