Corporate Banking Director

We are seeking a Corporate Banking Director with experience in generating and maintaining corporate clients within the healthcare sector. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of corporate customers and enhance the bank’s local presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare corporate banking customers, including acquiring new clients.
- Develop and execute a business plan addressing internal risk, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with key market professionals and stakeholders.
- Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Foster a collaborative network across Metro Bank for a unified approach for customers and colleagues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet proposition, pricing, risk policy, and reporting requirements.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven relationship management skills and healthcare sector knowledge.
- Excellent credit underwriting abilities, with a track record of lending to large SMEs and mid-corporates.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management.
- Success in building and expanding banking relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior/executive management.
