Buckden Partners is seeking a seasoned Corporate Banking Director to lead our healthcare sector banking efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining a portfolio of corporate clients within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare corporate banking customers, including acquiring new clients and developing strategic relationships.
- Develop and execute a business plan that addresses internal risk, market conditions, and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with Buckden Partners' overall strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with key market professionals and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative network across the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet proposition, pricing, risk policy, and reporting requirements, driving business growth and profitability.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proven relationship management skills and in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of industry trends and developments.
- Excellent credit underwriting abilities, with a track record of lending to large SMEs and mid-corporates, and a comprehensive understanding of risk management principles.
- Success in building and expanding banking relationships, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence senior/executive management.
