Position Overview

The European Marketing Director is responsible for spearheading the company's efforts to build and expand its presence in the European market through innovative advertising, strategic collaborations with KOLs, and impactful social media campaigns. This executive-level role focuses on driving brand awareness, engaging target audiences, and leveraging digital platforms to grow market share and revenue.


Key Responsibilities

1. KOL Strategy and Management

  • Identify, recruit, and nurture partnerships with influential KOLs, beauty influencers, and industry experts across Europe.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive KOL strategy to promote the company’s products, ensuring alignment with brand values and goals.
  • Oversee collaboration campaigns, including content creation, product reviews, live demos, and event participation.
  • Monitor KOL performance metrics to assess ROI and optimize future partnerships.

2.Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Lead the development of a robust social media strategy to amplify the company’s brand presence on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
  • Work with creative and marketing teams to design engaging, localized content tailored to diverse European audiences.
  • Oversee paid social media campaigns, ensuring efficient use of budgets and maximum reach.
  • Monitor social media trends, audience engagement, and competitor activity to keep the company at the forefront of digital innovation.

3.Advertising and Brand Campaigns

  • Develop and execute innovative advertising campaigns that resonate with the European market, utilizing both digital and traditional channels.
  • Collaborate with creative agencies to produce high-quality assets, including videos, visuals, and written content.
  • Align campaigns with seasonal trends, product launches, and local market preferences.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

4.Market Research and Consumer Insights

  • Conduct research to understand European consumer behavior, beauty trends, and competitor activities.
  • Use data-driven insights to tailor messaging, content, and campaigns to effectively reach target demographics.
  • Stay updated on emerging platforms and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape.

5.Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build and manage a high-performing regional team specializing in social media, influencer marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams to align European initiatives with the company’s overall brand strategy.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering creativity and innovation.

6.Event and Campaign Execution

  • Lead the organization of product launches, influencer events, and beauty expos to enhance brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with KOLs to ensure maximum exposure during events and campaigns.
  • Integrate online and offline marketing efforts to create a seamless consumer experience.

7.Compliance and Localization

  • Ensure all social media, advertising, and influencer collaborations comply with European advertising standards and regulations.
  • Adapt marketing content and campaigns to reflect the cultural nuances and preferences of different European markets.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on KOL/influencer management, social media, and advertising in the beauty or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital campaigns and influencer partnerships. Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices in the European market.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using tools to track campaign performance (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, influencer platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Workable Chinese, fluency in English and at least one other European language (preferred).

Travel Requirements

  • Can base in Shenzhen or UK/Germany.
  • Frequent travel to Shenzhen China and across Europe to collaborate with KOLs, attend events, and engage with local teams.
