Role: Joining a small children’s social care team in the City of London (approximately a square mile in size).
Case Load: Primarily working with refugee and asylum-seeking children, but also covering a wide range of cases including Child in Need, Children with Disabilities, Looked After Children/Care Leavers, Private fostering, and Court work.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with children and families throughout their involvement with the service.
- Form deep and meaningful relationships.
- Be part of an OFSTED Graded ‘Outstanding’ Service.
- Develop your practice through various opportunities.
- Practice in an anti-discriminatory way.
- Utilize relationship-based practice and Systemic Social Work.
- Assess and protect children based on their needs.
- Build strong relationships, stay organized, and communicate effectively.
