Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Locality Team at Haringey Council.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a strengths-based model of practice, supporting residents to improve their independence and wellbeing. As a Senior Social Worker, you will hold a non-complex caseload and work closely with partners to maximize the use and benefit of community resources.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct strengths-based assessments, reviews, and support planning to enable residents to maximize their independence and improve their quality of life.
- Assist in arranging short-term care and provide clients and carers with respite to reduce carer breakdown.
- Work with adult clients, relatives, carers, and communities to help them make informed decisions and contribute to support planning.
- Liaise with colleagues across the Haringey health and social care partnership to gather information relevant to assessment and support planning activities.
- Undertake reviews of care packages and attend safeguarding strategy meetings when required.
- Complete Continuing Health Care checklists and identify those that require full assessments.
- QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration, and completed ASYE.
- Competitive referral scheme.
- Double payrolls each week.
