Children and Families Social Worker in Bristol

Bristol Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children and Families area teams, county-wide. The role involves undertaking assessments under S17 & S47 and working with children in need, with children on a CP plan, and with families in pre-proceedings or in the court system.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake assessments under S17 & S47
- Work with children in need, with children on a CP plan, and with families in pre-proceedings or in the court system
- Develop and implement plans to support children and families
- Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing - performance references are required at the point of submission to Bristol City Council
- Driving license with access to a car
- 20 years' experience of the Social Work market
- PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available - you choose
