The Role: Infrastructure Engineer
Leo Recruitment is hiring for an esteemed and award-winning Microsoft Gold Partner located in Dorset who uphold a strong sense of pride in their services. They have been established for around 30 years and are renowned for delivering customised infrastructure solutions and a personalised customer experience.

As their Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on cloud migrations and infrastructure projects of varying sizes and will be responsible for:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support issues and working with the remote support team to resolve incidents both remotely and onsite at customer premises.
- Working on client builds, which will include preparing endpoint hardware, tailoring installations to client requirements, and ensuring all technology are set up in line with business standards.
- Documenting details of hardware and software configurations.
To Be Successful:
- You'll need to have good hands-on experience of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows 10.
- You should have good knowledge and understanding of virtualisation (ideally VMware) and backup technologies (ideally Veeam).
- You’ll need to be proficient in anti-virus solutions, firewalls, wireless technologies, networking (e.g. VLANs and Layer-3 setup), and key security principles.
- You will need to have a valid driving license, which is essential for travel.
- Experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider would be advantageous.
Location: While some remote working is available, this project-based role requires you to travel to customer sites (Dorset/Hampshire), sometimes at short notice, with occasional overnight stays as and when required. You will also be required to attend the office from time to time. Therefore, you will need to be located in the local Dorset/Hampshire area.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility available.
