Position Overview:
Adecco Bournemouth is in search of a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting senior engineering personnel while overseeing specific tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Management:
    Oversee the design process for a variety of infrastructure and private sector development projects, with a primary focus on drainage systems.
  • Team Coordination:
    Act as a liaison between Senior Engineers, Senior Technicians, and CAD Technicians, effectively managing and delegating tasks to junior team members.
  • Documentation:
    Prepare Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements, and Transportation Reports necessary for planning permissions.
    Assist in the creation of Drainage and Highway designs for development initiatives and secure necessary technical approvals.
  • Resource Management:
    Delegate and manage CAD and technician resources to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Client Engagement:
    Maintain communication with clients and design teams, manage project deliverables, and provide updates to project managers.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Ensure that project delivery adheres to budgetary constraints.

Qualifications:
  • HND/C or a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience post-graduation.
  • Familiarity with Drainage and Highways Sectional Agreements.
  • Experience in preparing highway designs and specifications.
  • Proficient in detailed drainage and SuDs design using WINDES.
  • Experience in managing technician and CAD resources.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in ACAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Knowledge of DMRB Manual for Streets, British Standards, and Sewers for Adoption.
  • Experience in a design-build project environment is advantageous.
