Your Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Serve as the initial point of contact for support, managing 1st and 2nd line inquiries through various communication channels. Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • On-Site Assistance: Occasionally travel to client locations for comprehensive support and project execution, ensuring uninterrupted operations and resolving intricate challenges.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the infrastructure support helpdesk team, sharing insights and addressing complex challenges collectively.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain thorough records of all hardware and software installations for precise configuration management.

  • Proactive Infrastructure Monitoring: Ensure the monitoring and maintenance of the client's core IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, firewalls, routers, switches, storage, and telecommunications.
  • System Health Checks: Conduct regular assessments and reviews of systems to ensure optimal performance of technology.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: 2-4 years of robust infrastructure experience, preferably in an IT reseller setting.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Office 365 management, including Exchange Online and Azure Active Directory.
  • Server management (Server 2016 and later), DHCP, DNS, Group Policy.
  • Virtual machine oversight in Azure.
  • VoIP technologies.
  • Microsoft Active Directory expertise.
  • Desktop support (Office suite, antivirus solutions).
  • Networking fundamentals: Subnetting, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Wireless.
  • Certifications: 1-2+ Microsoft Certifications or a commitment to obtain them within six months.

Preferred Skills:

  • Firewall management (preferably Watchguard).
  • Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Backup solutions (Nable, Cove, Carbonite, Veeam).
  • N-Able remote monitoring tools.
  • Utilization of Microsoft Teams as a VoIP service.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Positive and proactive approach to personal development.
