About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Server Engineer to join our Infrastructure Team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our staff and service users by ensuring the smooth operation of our core infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain a range of internal and hosted systems, with a focus on Virtual Infrastructure services.
  • Provide infrastructure support and 3rd line level support, including periodic out of hours support.
  • Work with 3rd party technical teams to deliver projects that meet our digital strategy.
  • Identify and resolve issues with our core server and virtual infrastructure.
  • Contribute to a culture of maintaining cyber security through maintaining an up-to-date environment and following requirements from the Trust.
Requirements
  • Degree level or experience and evidenced continuous development.
  • ECDL, CLAIT, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or Microsoft MCP Certification/application.
  • Demonstrable specialist knowledge of, and experience in: Windows Server based computers, Server Virtualisation/VMWare/ Nutanix / Rubrik.
