They are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team. This company is renowned for its strategic growth plans and commitment to supporting production throughout the entire product lifecycle, from tool design and manufacture to production requirements and aftermarket demand.
Your new role
Your new role will involve working closely with the Engineering Manager and the Engineering Team to support current production, new product introductions, and project management. You will be responsible for costings, continuous improvement, and process development. This includes designing for manufacturability (DFM), creating and manufacturing fixtures, introducing new products and technologies, and providing technical support through root cause analysis. You will also manage engineering changes, bill of materials, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
What you'll need to succeed
What you’ll need to succeed is a passion for engineering, creativity, and a determined mindset. Industry experience is essential, along with a strong focus on supporting production and implementing strategic growth plans. You should be adept at project management, costings, and continuous improvement processes. Technical skills in design and manufacturing, as well as the ability to support operations through root cause analysis, are highly beneficial. Previous knowledge/experience in Polymers would make you a very strong candidate.
