A global business have a newly created role for a Helpdesk Technician to join their rapidly expanding team on a full time basis. Supporting the Helpdesk Team Leader this role is well suited to an ambitious engineering professional seeking a challenging new role. Offering an excellent benefits package and ample career progression this position is pivotal in the day to day running of the technical team and will be responsible for:
- Trouble shooting electrical, pneumatic, software and mechanical breakdowns
- Demonstrating excellent customer facing and trouble shooting skills whilst resolving any challenges
- Updating and creating documentation and procedures
- Advising schedulers on any breakdown issues
- Support the spare parts department
- Deal with customers in an effective and professional manner
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience within a mechanical, engineering, electrical or technician background
- Strong communication skills
- A minimum of 5 years in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- CADCAM and process knowledge within the industry desirable
