Job Description: Junior Business Analyst – London


We are currently seeking a full time junior business analyst for the wholesale department at our London head office, starting from mid September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for business graduates looking to explore different analytical roles in the luxury fashion industry.

OVERALL DUTIES:


A junior position with the responsibility of generating MaxMara LTD’s internal reporting, relating to both sell in and sell out. Ideal for someone entering the industry with strong excel skills.


REPORTING TO: Head of Sales


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Compilation of weekly top line reports, using different data sets from K-accounts.
  • Preparation and creation of in-depth analysis using large data sets to help support the business decision making.
  • Support the process of end of season returns for all key partners
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc analysis that gives insights into the market trends and Brand performance
  • In-season B2B replenishment: create re-order proposals to keep client’s assortment relevant and drive performance.
  • Analyse client’s product assortment & distribution to maximise sell out potential.


REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:


  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including: pivot tables; VLOOKUP
  • Ability to extract information from large data sets.
  • Word, PowerPoint.
  • Methodical and logical approach
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Retail maths knowledge preferable
  • Knowledge of fashion (advantage but not essential)
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Flexible, proactive and with the ability to work in a fast-pace environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
