Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and execute marketing strategies that will drive the growth and success of Clixifix®. As we transition from our outgoing fractional Chief Marketing Officer, you'll have the chance to lead and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, working closely with our sales and customer success teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities


Strategy Development:

Create and implement a forward-thinking marketing strategy and marketing plan that aligns with the goals of Clixifix® and the broader SmartCraft group.


Brand awareness:

Create brand awareness and alignment in all external and internal channels

Media plan for brand advertising, films and press releases on company and product news


Acquisition tactics:

Campaign Management: Strategize, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and sales initiatives.


Email Marketing:

Plan, execute, and analyse email marketing campaigns to engage our audience and drive conversions.


Sales Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to provide necessary marketing collateral and support for effective outreach, particularly on LinkedIn.


Website Management:

Update and maintain the Clixifix® website using WordPress, ensuring content is current and engaging and according to SEO standards. Responsible for lead conversion on site.


Digital Marketing:

Oversee PPC campaigns on Google and LinkedIn, either directly if you have experience, or in collaboration with external support if needed.


Content Creation:

Develop and manage content across various formats and platforms, including blog posts, social media, video content, email newsletters, and more.


Customer Success:

Work tightly together with the Customer Success Team and Support to increase solution usage as well as upsell and cross-sell.

Marketing Automation for supporting CS in onboarding process

Monthly News mails to existing customers

Webinar invites to boost usage and upsell

Support customer events and fairs

Reporting: 
Report on marketing activities and their impact, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

External Liaison: 
Coordinate with the central marketing team at SmartCraft for alignment on broader marketing initiatives.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within a SaaS business. Experience in housebuilding, construction, or manufacturing is a plus but not essential.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPress for website management. Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Collaboration: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to senior leadership.

Self-Starter: Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

PPC Knowledge: Experience with PPC management is beneficial but not required. Willingness to liaise with a contractor for campaign setup and maintenance.
