Job Summary

Nigel Wright Group is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Lead to join their team in County Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to reach new and existing audiences.

Key Responsibilities

The Marketing Lead will collaborate closely with the Business Development Director and Senior Leadership Team to create and distribute marketing collateral, manage the tradeshow calendar, and develop marketing strategies in line with company objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing marketing strategies in collaboration with Business Development and Sales teams.
  • Serving as the brand guardian across the business and with external partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create compelling marketing collateral that aligns with company and group brand values.
  • Planning, implementing, and delivering all tactical marketing activities, including the annual tradeshows and events program.
  • Managing the marketing budget to optimize ROI.
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of the Marketing Assistant.
  • Designing and delivering a content plan, including the creation of website articles, multimedia, email, and social media posts.

Requirements

Candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous marketing experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proven experience in a Marketing Lead or similar role.
  • A track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns.
  • Understanding of marketing principles, campaign development, and digital marketing channels.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to visit sister sites and facilitate events.
