At KFF,we’ve are recruiting for an ambitious Area Sales Manager. You willbe responsible for growing the MAT, exceeding sterling, and profittargets for KFF within a defined geographical area. This willinvolve selling a range of chilled, ambient, and frozen productsfrom our KFF range. Area Sales Managers are expected to generatetheir own opportunities and develop business in both existing andnew business sectors. You will report directly into the RegionalSalesManager.
KeyAccountabilities
- Toexceed both sterling sales target and the company profit margintarget.
- Maximize business for the companythrough existing customer base using intelligent and efficient callcoverage.
- Generate own new businessopportunities with customers matching KFF’s targetprofile.
- Track daily, weekly, and quarterlyperformance against agreed KPI’s andtargets.
- Make sure all administration is up todate and actedupon.
Itgoes without saying that you are highly service focused, puttingthe customer at the heart of everything you do, having a passionand creativity when dealing with food. Providing the best solutionsto support and enhance the customer’s business. Being creative withmenu planning and designs, with ensuring the understanding ofportioning control and finical costings. Tenacious and resilientyou’re a self-starter with a drive and determination to succeed.You’ll need to be confident with the cold calling as well as faceto face side of sales. Strong time management skills with theability to prioritise workload. Needing to be self-motivated toenhance your own development.
You will also needthe ability to create great results from a sale’s driven career. PCliterate with all Microsoft packages, specifically excel. Anexcellent understanding of the principles of a start to finishselling process along with exceptional customer service skills.Whilst a desired experience of a minimum 2 years of sales in thefood sector would not be essential.
