My client is looking for an automation tester to join their world leading team to test on Physical units running Linux (IOT devices) as well as some traditional website testing. They are pioneers in the outdoor digital signage solutions industry.

The Role

  • Producing, maintaining, and improving testing plans and test cases.
  • Analysing test output and producing test reports.
  • Testing the solutions delivered by the software development team for robustness, usability, and stability.
  • Assess software against predefined specifications.
  • Identify and report usability issues and bugs.
  • Identification, reporting and tracking the resolution of defects.
  • Automation of test activities desirable

Skills

  • At least 1 year experience in software testing, any automated testing experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of UNIX systems and command line is desirable.
  • Identifying and recording of defects.
  • Analytical, Multi-tasking mindset
  • Familiarity with Dev ops or Jira (Issue tracking)
  • This role won’t just be traditional website testing but will give exposure to testing on our physical units running Linux (IOT devices)
  • Any automated testing experience is advantageous but pure automated testers may not be interested in manual testing which will be required so a hybrid would be ideal.
