The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.

Initially this will be a 12 month FTC, with the view of this possibly being extended or made permanent thereafter.

Duties:

  • Work alongside stakeholders to develop and adapt the people element of Business Plans.
  • Identify and use key data from across the business and from external sources to support and inform decision making; turnover, absence rates, diversity, pay, for example. Use data, metrics and evidence to identify and forecast longer term business needs and trends
  • Supporting business plan implementation, performance management cycle/system, new HR system implementation, leaver feedback process.
  • Significant previous experience at HR Advisor/Business Partner level, with strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Proven ability of driving and managing HR related projects, working on own initiative, high accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic and solutions focused attitude.
  • Training & upskilling managers, running HR bite-site online training sessions, coaching senior managers – providing feedback, having difficult conversations, etc.
  • Experience of supporting managers and staff on employee relations cases up to complex level
  • A determined and robust approach to influencing is required, particularly to ensure that line managers understand and comply with the need to effectively deliver core HR processes

Hybrid role, with 3 days per week in the office, which is based in Crawley.

The salary on offer is up to £60,000.
