We are working with a fantastic Agency who work with some household names across different sectors and looking for someone to take on their first Social Media Marketing Director role. This experienced, agency have won new business across sectors and are looking for someone to grow Social Media and Performance Marketing across their client base.

Role

As Social Media Marketing Director you will currently be an experienced Senior Manager looking for the autonomy to run Social strategy the way you would like too. As Social Media Marketing Director the agency are looking for someone with a Social Media focus but wants to be involved in devising strategy across different marketing channels including SEO, PPC and Email. This is a role that will report directly into the Agency’s CEO and you will take on responsibility for designing and delivering Social strategies for client and agency success. You will be take a hands-on approach to your work including carrying out content plans, channel management and strategy and building communities up from scratch, while managing a team of 5.

This is a key appointment for the agency as they are looking to bring someone into the business who is comfortable being a key point of focus for devising Social strategy to ensure client growth and success. You will be able to deliver on key areas such as tracking and analytics in the business in your sleep while being comfortable with being client facing

The right Social Media Marketing Director will provided with the platform to grow, and manage, a team over the medium term.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior social media focused role.
  • Excellent understanding of SEO, PPC and Email Marketing
  • Background of team leadership and development.
  • Experience of working with Start-Up businesses with growing their social media and communities is essential for the right person.
  • Excellent communicator who is used to managing clients and stakeholders alike.
