  • Work closely with parents/carers to ensure that their perspectives and concerns are incorporated into the planning and delivery of support services.
  • Liaise with external agencies, including educational psychologists, speech therapists, and social workers, to access additional support and resources for students with SEND.
  • Maintain accurate records of students with SEND, including assessments, progress reports, and support plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in SEND education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Recognized qualification in Special Educational Needs Coordination (SENCo) or willingness to work towards obtaining one.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in education.

Why Join Us:

  • Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with SEND.
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
