As their SENDCO you will work with the leadership and speech & Language Therapy team to develop the school’s special education needs provision. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of that policy with the aim of raising pupil achievement.

* Monitor learning activities and teaching to meet the needs of the students.

* Track AFL data for Annual reviews, PEP’s, LAC Reviews, and general reporting.

* Liaise with other schools to ensure continuity when transferring pupils.

* Promote best practice and contribute to the ethos and values of the school.

* A recognised SENCO Qualification, or a SEN Teacher willing to undertake SENCO.

* Relevant knowledge and experience of working with SEN & SEND practice.

* A desire and passion to put children first and treat them as individuals.
