SENCO Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SENCO to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to lead the Special Needs provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans and make applications as required.
  • Update the school's SEND record of need and ensure accurate records of pupil progress and needs.
  • Lead annual reviews and provide specialist support for teachers and support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, outside agencies, and support teams across the borough.
  • Organize training for staff to ensure they are aware and confident in meeting the needs of pupils.
