Home From Home Care is a market leading organisation at the forefront of delivering innovative Social Care supported by state of the art technology. We are a family company driven by our personal experiences and focus on always doing things better. We are now seeking a skilled and experienced part time and/or a senior consultant Bid Writer to join/advise our dynamic team.

We envisage the ongoing part time role to be 1 to 2 days a week, flexible in accordance with the requirements of the role.

The role:

The successful part time candidate will be responsible for preparing, writing and submitting persuasive and compelling proposals in response to tender requests and Approved Provider invitations.  The Bid Writer will collaborate with various departments to gather information, conduct research for new bids, complete pre-bid documents, formulate bespoke responses and complete lessons learned reviews and reports.  

The consultant role will be to advise on strategy.

Key Responsibilities

·      Thoroughly review and analyse requests for proposals and tender documents to understand requirements, evaluation criteria and submission guidelines

·      Work closely with subject matter experts, specialist leads and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for proposal development

·      Manage the completion of pre-qualification questionnaire documents

·      Draft clear and compelling content for proposals, ensuring alignment with company values

·      Conduct thorough proof reading of all submission materials

·      Ensure accurate and timely uploading and submission of bid documents

·      Participate in post-outcome reviews and lessons learned sessions to enhance future bid processes

·      Establish and maintain a comprehensive library of bid responses

Skills

·      Proven experience as a Tender/Bid Writer

·      Familiarity with procurement frameworks and public sector bidding processes

·      Strong writing ability with the capability to create persuasive and well-articulated tender responses

·      Strong written and verbal communication skills

·      Excellent research and analytical abilities

·      Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

·      Familiarity with Health and Social care industry and market trends
