Exciting Opportunity for a Bid Writer at Lindum

Lindum is seeking a highly skilled Bid Writer to join our Business Development and Bids Department, based at our offices in Lincoln. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing project-specific bid submissions to win work for our divisions and secure construction contracts with new and existing clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collate information from our tender library and liaise with colleagues to produce comprehensive, concise, and well-presented submissions.
  • Assist with marketing activities, preparing awards submissions, social media content, and presenting proposals to clients.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and follow up on project leads.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, architecture, or engineering.
  • Excellent writing skills and a passion for writing.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong proof-reading skills.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize a high workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
  • A full driving license, as the role involves travel to our sites and other offices.
