About the Role

Lindum is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our Business Development and Bids Department. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality bid submissions to secure construction contracts with new and existing clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate information from our tender library and liaise with colleagues to produce comprehensive, concise, and well-presented submissions.
  • Assist with marketing activities, preparing awards submissions, and creating social media content.
  • Present proposals to clients, attend client meetings, and network events.
  • Follow up on project leads and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in construction, architecture, or engineering.
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize a high workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.
  • A full driving license for travel to sites and other offices.
