Based in Bristol, with parking on site, this role is offered on a hybrid basis (2 days a week in the office).

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Application Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for customer service. You will be the primary contact for resolving software issues and ensuring our clients’ payroll and pension systems operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support for payroll and pension software using SQL.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
  • Manage and document support requests in the ticketing system.
  • Assist with software updates, patches, and configurations.
  • Create and update user guides and support documentation.
  • Collaborate with the development team on complex issues.

Past experience:

  • Experience in software support or technical support roles.
  • SQL database management experience
  • Knowledge of payroll and pensions software is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
