Headquartered in Leeds, our 1,400 employees manage around 175,000 vehicles. Our operations span the breadth of the automotive market with commercial vehicles, corporate fleets and consumer leasing.
The Role
We are interested in speaking with individuals experienced in commercial fleet management, to join our fast-paced Commercial division. As our Fleet Controller, you will have responsibility for advising key stakeholders in relation to vehicle repairs. As a key point of contact to customers you will proactively manage day-to-day cost-effective vehicle repair decisions.
Working hours are 20 per week, which can be scheduled from Friday to Sunday or from Saturday to Monday.
To provide effective customer service and build relationships with both internal and external customers
To work within a fleet desk team and to liaise effectively with all other departments across the Division
Help identify a mechanical problem by questioning the customer
Prioritise work effectively ensuring all systems and updates are recorded accurately
Ensure all information is correctly entered into the internal software systems accurately, sufficient, and suitable
Monitor and organise all contracts
Liaise with Contract Relationship Manager & Customer Service Manager regarding any issues that may arise
Deal with day-to-day queries & escalations from customers
Ensure records are kept on file for all repairs and service / inspections
Key point of contact for customers, regularly providing updates on repair progress and due service inspections and other required works.
Report all defects to the customers, preparing estimates / quotations and obtain covering order numbers
To provide further assistance to other team members when requested
About You
This role requires a strong knowledge of LCV & HGV compliance & proven experience of working in a similar role
Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding working environment
Excellent telephone based customer service skills
Excellent Verbal & written communication skills
Organised and reliable
